Friend’s Meeting House, Longfellow Park, Cambridge, MA 0213
An interactive, daylong communication workshop based on the work of Marshall Rosenberg.
Do you seem to have an intellectual understanding of NVC — maybe you have read the book or watched some videos — yet you still struggle to access compassion in the daily conflicts of life? Would you like to increase your ability to empathize in the moment with yourself and others?
This workshop is designed for anyone new to NVC, as well as for anyone with NVC experience that wishes to practice and deepen NVC skills.
The NVC process can be used in a wide variety of real-life situations, and in most all relationships, from intimate to professional. By understanding and acknowledging the human needs that underlie everyone’s words and actions, we can create a shared basis for connection, cooperation, and peace.
Some of the topics will be:
- Deepening Needs Consciousness
- Breaking down barriers to empathic connection
- Living the NVC Model
The day will be a balanced combination of group instruction, partner work and structured role play.
It is all about having access to empathy for ourselves and others in the moments when we need it most!
