The Alchemy of Relationship – Empathy and Self-Expression
In this day-long NVC workshop, based on the work of Marshall Rosenberg, we will focus on the NVC skills and practices of empathy and self expression.
Would you like to…
- Know how to ask for what you want while deepening your connection with others?
- Gain greater confidence in how you respond to annoyance, fear, impatience?
- Practice how to express your own needs while also caring about the needs of your partner?
At the foundation of a healthy relationship is the ability to show up authentically while also holding awareness of the other person’s experience. Through the practice of empathy and self-expression, we can transform situations, and relationships, by owning the fullness of our experience in terms of our own feelings and needs, and then expressing that without blame or criticism.
The workshop is open to those who are new to NVC as well as to those with NVC experience. The day will be a balanced combination of group instruction, partner work and simple structured role-plays.
