- Have you promised yourself, ‘No family drama this year’?
- Want to stay centered and compassionate amidst tense holiday gatherings?
- Would you like more practical tools to help you navigate challenging holiday interactions?
The holidays can bring up old pain, resentments, fears, hopes, and other challenging experiences. Join us for a workshop on Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and mindfulness, designed to help you navigate this season with greater understanding and deeper connections. Discover how NVC and mindfulness can provide you the space to act rather than react through interactive exercises. This workshop is geared toward those with some NVC experience. If you’re new, please email Bonnie, the trainer, for helpful resources to make the most of this workshop. This workshop is offered by Speaking of Listening. Please direct all questions to Bonnie.
Location: We’ll meet at 1991 Mass Ave in Cambridge, MA, in a modern space with natural light, outdoor access, and various seating options, including a sofa, two armchairs, and conference chairs. If you prefer sitting on the rug, please bring a back jack if you have one. It’s a 5-minute walk from the Porter Square MBTA (red line subway) stop.
Limited 2-hour metered street parking is available, but we recommend public transit. Alewife Station parking garage offers inexpensive all-day Weekend parking for ~$3/day. Alewife is one stop from Porter Square.
